One of the things that many of the first-attenders at the horrific Grenfell fire said afterwards was that they were simply did not have the skills to offer any help to the injured. Others said they were too frightened of making things worse by doing the wrong thing to attempt even the basics of First Aid.
The organisers of Crouch End Festival are working with the Red Cross and local resident Sally Mustoe to offer a session to equip people with the confidence and the basics techniques to be able to do something useful in an emergency.
The event is open to all with a suggested minimum £5 donation for The UK Solidarity Fund ( http://www.redcross.org.uk/ ) .
To book a place, please email Sally on [email protected] .
