Hornsey Town Hall development exhibition, July 6 & 8

Crouch Enders (and beyond – Muswell Hill, Hornsey, Stroud Green and Highgate, this was your Town Hall too) will be interested to learn of another public exhibition of plans for the development and restoration of the Hornsey Town Hall site, –

Public Information Sessions
Thursday 6th July 4-8 pm  and  Saturday 8th July 12-4 pm  (venue: Hornsey Town Hall)

With a Development Management Forum scheduled for the following Monday 10th, it’s a crowded schedule.

The Forum discussed the recent news of the development a few days ago, and produced some ideas for the local creative economy. In addition to planning issues there are still a few question marks around the overall sustainability of the arts and community centre and how it works with the aparthotel – and what the development will bring to the local economy. Haringey requested this be a place-making initiative, and we’d like to see something distinctly ‘Crouch End’ about the project. Hopefully as details are released the community will see a fuller picture.

Do get yourself along, and remember, the Neighbourhood Forum is interested in your views too.
