Working Groups – CENF gets under way

Got something to say about Crouch End?

Time to get started on writing the Crouch End Neighbourhood Plan!

Writing a Neighbourhood Plan gives all of us in Crouch End the chance to write policies for our area that, for example: protect the green spaces that we love, enhance our high street, and help determine what new developments will look like.

To get started, we’ve set up 6 Working Groups. They will look at the situation on the ground in Crouch End now, as well as current policies, then come up with the questions that will help the whole community work out what we want for their future. After that we’ll draft policies that protect the things we love most about Crouch End and improve the things that need it. Throughout this, there’ll be loads of opportunities to get involved and have your say.

Working Groups:
ECONOMY
: shopping, town centre, leisure, art & culture, regeneration, employment
SOCIAL & COMMUNITY: health, education, community facilities
HOUSING: housing, mix & quality
ENVIRONMENT: green & open spaces, environmental sustainability, nature conservation
TRANSPORT: traffic, public transport, parking, cycling, walking
DESIGN & CHARACTER: design, conservation & heritage, public realm, shopfronts
Sound like something you’d like to get involved with? Join a Working Group!
It’ll take a few hours of your time over the next few months
and you don’t need any specialist knowledge or skills –
you’ll get all the support you need and we’ll all be building our skills along the way.EMAIL [email protected] with your details, the group/s you’d like to help with or any questions, and we’ll put you in touch with the group leader.

There’s lots happening around here…
