CROUCH END NEIGHBOURHOOD FORUM 2017 AGM
SUNDAY 5TH MARCH 2.00 – 4.30 PM AT HORNSEY TOWN HALL
Do come to our second Annual General Meeting.
In addition to reporting on the year’s activities we’ll be electing a new Executive Committee (details below) and discussing key issues for local planning and development, such as the future of Hornsey Town Hall, and the next steps for the Forum.
The local MP, Catherine West, will be attending.
The Neighbourhood Forum and Neighbourhood Area were approved by Haringey Council in December 2015, and we’ve spent 2016 asking people what their priorities are, and what they would like to see change in townscape, conservation, traffic, housing, retail, business and the environment among other subjects. We are now ready to start writing our detailed Neighbourhood Plan.
To help us manage numbers please register for your free ticket at Eventbrite (but you can still fetch up on the day). Hope to see you there.
Want to get involved? New members are always welcome, no subscription necessary, and open to all. We now have over 1,000 people, local organisations and businesses on our mailing list.
All Crouch Enders are eligible for membership whether they live here, work here, carry out business here, are in education here, or own property. Members of local societies and associations are welcome, as are our local councillors.
The AGM is open to all, membership will be available on the day too.
The Executive Committee
Want to get further involved? There are 15 places on the Executive Committee.
Nominations are open for the 2017/18 Executive Committee, to be elected at the AGM. All members of the Forum, including business members, and representatives of affiliated organisations are eligible to stand. It would be helpful if anyone wishing to stand informed us of their intention by February 20th (self-nominations are sufficient). The list of nominations will be circulated 7 days in advance.
Anyone unable to attend the AGM in person can give a proxy to another member. They should apply 7 days in advance.
Photos will be taken at the meeting; if you do not wish to appear in these, please contact the Chair.
