Redesignation of Crouch End Neighbourhood Forum

Redesignation of Crouch End Neighbourhood Forum

We’re pleased to report that the application for the quinquennial renewal of the Crouch End Neighbourhood Forum was successful, and Haringey Council has now officially approved redesignation until 2026. Our thanks are due to all those who have continued to support the efforts toward local planning, and particularly to those who agreed to add their name to the application.

CENF is now able to continue the work toward setting neighbourhood planning policies, developing design codes, identifying projects funded by the Community Infrastructure Levy, and establishing a local focus and consultation forum for future developments. We aim to represent residents and traders alike.

The first task will be to emerge from the shadow of the pandemic, and we hope to arrange an AGM, in person hopefully, before long. Efforts toward recruitment are needed, and do let us know if you would be interested in contributing to the work. Please keep an eye on the website for announcements. 2021/22 will be an interesting year, as radical changes to the planning system are announced promoting new development, the evolution of the high street accelerates, and not least for Crouch End, as the (very) long running Hornsey Town Hall restoration project is finally realised.
