We carried out a survey earlier this year, and here’s a blog which sets out what you told us you like about Crouch End. We hope you still like the Neighbourhood Forum and now that Haringey Council has begun the statutory consultation period on the Forumand Area applications anyone living in Crouch End can let the council know if they support or object to us setting up a Neighbourhood Forum and the area that we are trying to designate as the Crouch End Neighbourhood Area.
Let’s show Haringey the level of support we have from the good folk of Crouch End – usually they only hear when people object! So if you could find a few minutes to tell the council that you support our application, that would be great. Email ldf@haringey.gov.uk. The deadline is 27th November, with the final decision being made at the December Cabinet meeting.
More analysis of the survey questionnaires to follow.

Current Issues Group As well as the policy areas mentioned, we also have a Current Issues Group. This meets monthly and will be looking at immediate issues in Crouch End that we want to have a say on, and that can’t be delayed till the detailed Neighbourhood Plan policies have been written, which could take a year or so.Things that the CIG is looking at currently are:
Current planning applications
Town centre and local businesses
CENF is also represented on the Hornsey Town Hall Appreciation Society, which is awaiting the publication of the OJEU procurement papers in the next few days which signals the start of the sale of the town hall and green. And a final reminder about the petition.
We’re always on the lookout for other people who want to get involved with writing the neighbourhood plan. We meet monthly so do get in touch if you want to come along.
