What sort of shops does Crouch End need.
Here is a completely Second Hand blog based on over 100 responses to a Facebook question. It’s very relevant to the Neighbourhood Forum because the Town Centre, its shops and streetscape (signs, railings, road crossings and so on) forms a part of the planning brief the Forum will look at.
Woolworth’s seems to be sorely missed, and apparently the range of cafes is still not enough.

- Josipa Smith A book shop📚
- Patricia Maureen Lea Nice cloths shops (ladies +men’s )at reasnble prices ) like bon_Marche. )
- Sarah Corrigan A book shop.
- Wayne Herbert It has to be something which isn’t niche or specialist unless there is sufficient volume in the immediate area to keep customers coming back. Realistically it should also be something that people can’t buy online cheaper.
Services work better. And that’s why hairdressers and coffee shops do so well in Crouch End.
Sorry with the non-specific answer.

- Kelly Kilfeather Or a wagamama… a poundshop or a wagamama would both do very well. I’m not sure if some of these suggestions would get much custom beyond once-a-month visits from people
